Optometric Assistant
Although we are fully staffed, we are growing and will need more help. Would you like to change people's lives through innovative vision care? Would you wish to be part of an optometry office that compassionately serves the needy? Would you be proud to serve Medicare citizens with care better than they had with private insurance? Do you love our Veterans whom we provide the best care they ever had? How would you feel reversing blindness from a head injury or detecting a tumor in time to save a life? You might even enjoy the smile a lady gives as she gets her new pair of stylish glasses. Would you want to show the best sunglasses made? |
Here no vision care experience is needed. We train, but Only if you are looking for a career in our office. We are not a stepping stone. If you’re looking for caring, happy, serving, dedicated, fun loving people, who put others first, that’s who we are.
When we are ready to expand we will place notices on social media for you to send a resume to our address or our e-mail at [email protected]. |

Looking for an OD
Are you an optometrist interested in learning and providing innovative vision therapy greatly influenced by Bob Pepper with some flavor added from Bob Kraskin and Ken Gibson?
We are tucked into Northern CA with a great nightly breeze and access to Yosemite, San Francisco, and the magnificent West Cost within hours.
I am a Christian and do not hide it without flaunting. I wrote What Would Jesus See and Looking Over Mother's Shoulder. Since I graduated from Pacific in 1968, the inevitable is before me. The practice has plenty of room for growth both in general optometry and vision therapy.
We have five optometric assistants. You couldn’t ask for better assistants. Our mission is, “We change lives through innovative vision care” and base that on fun and love. There are kinks to address as I have been solo for so long, but I feel the potential is great.
To my loyal patients: I am not retiring but looking toward partnership.
